“Ci serviva questo podio, ci sfuggiva da un po’ e sono contento che oggi sia arrivato. La squadra ha lavorato molto bene, trovando un buon set up per la gara e sistemando il problema alla frizione che aveva penalizzato Casey una settimana fa: infatti sia lui sia Nicky sono scattati bene al via. Casey poi ha girato molto forte, ha fatto otto giri in ’34, e penso che se non avesse avuto il problema all’avambraccio avrebbe potuto attaccare Dani. In ogni caso ha fatto una bella gara. Nicky è stato rallentato nelle prime curve, ha perso contatto con il gruppetto che lo precedeva e non è più riuscito a recuperare. I problemi avuti in prova non lo hanno aiutato a trovare un set up che gli desse fiducia ma sono sicuro che lo ritroveremo davanti nella prossima gara”.
