“Ad essere onesti ci aspettavamo qualche cosa di più dopo il warm-up di questa mattina e dopo le modifiche che avevamo fatto. Probabilmente invece era un po’ troppo caldo per le gomme che abbiamo scelto. La parte sinistra lavorava molto bene ma la parte destra aveva poco “grip” e non mi dava fiducia, costringendomi ad allargare la traiettoria in tutte le curve in quella direzione. Non è esattamente il risultato che avrei voluto su questa pista, una di quelle che mi piacciono davvero. Quando, a metà gara, ero davanti a Marco e Randy, mi sono reso conto che non avrebbe avuto senso continuare a forzare, non ce l’avrei fatta ad andare via e avrei rischiato troppo. Ho quindi deciso di restare alle loro spalle e di aspettare l’ultimo giro per passare”.
