POSITIVA PRIMA GIORNATA DI PROVE PER STONER E HAYDEN IN FRANCIA

Casey Stoner e Nicky Hayden hanno iniziato un po’ in sordina il primo turno di prove libere del Gran Premio di Francia, ma lo hanno concluso entrambi molto soddisfatti delle rispettive prestazioni, che li hanno visti ottenere rispettivamente il secondo ed il settimo miglior tempo.
In condizioni climatiche ideali, con cielo azzurro ed un bel sole che ha scaldato l’asfalto della pista fino a 44°C, il pilota australiano ha impiegato pochi giri prendere il ritmo dopo aver aggiustato le regolazioni dei nuovi manubri, ed ha chiuso il turno in seconda posizione, a meno di tre decimi dal record della pista. Hayden, che in passato su questa pista ha sempre fatto fatica a trovare un buon passo, oggi è invece riuscito a progredire giro dopo giro, facendo solo poche modifiche al set-up di base che aveva usato, con ottimi risultati, nelle prime due gare.
