"Siamo partiti bene nel primo turno di prove libere e abbiamo fatto continui progressi durante tutto il fine settimana. Oggi pomeriggio poi le condizioni della pista erano migliori grazie alla temperatura più fresca e all'asfalto più gommato e anche questo aiuta. Alla fine delle qualifiche stavo facendo un giro molto buono ma nelle ultime due curve mi sono trovato dietro a Edwards e ho perso tempo prezioso. Mi è spiaciuto non fare la pole per così poco ma forse avrei dovuto provare a passarlo prima e magari le cose sarebbero andate in maniera diversa. Detto questo, non possiamo che essere contenti, partiamo dalla prima fila e mi sento fiducioso per domani, quindi non resta che aspettare la gara e vedere come andrà."
